This morning Facebook reminded me that I posted the above quote on my timeline exactly seven years ago today. In light of everything that’s happened since then, I still think these words sum up how I feel about life. Some things have happened in the last few months that have sucked all the air out of the room and made it difficult to feel like working on art is an important use of one’s precious time, but I’ve been doing it all the same and trying not to feel too guilty about it. I’ll post my new work here as I get it photographed.
