As happens sometimes, just when you’re steaming along making all kinds of new work for a solo show coming up in a couple of months, life decides to throw you a curveball. I’ve been temporarily derailed from working by a huge unexpected project – I’ll just say a family can accumulate an unbelievable amount of stuff in a pretty small house over the course of 55 years – but I hope to be back to it very soon. In the meantime, I’ll post a few images of work I finished before I had to leave.
This one is part of a series I’m calling Metaphors & Mysteries. The title comes from Lakoff and his writings on metaphor. Much more about that later when I have time. Here are few details:
